In answer to your questions above.

Outlook For Mac Download

1. I need to check when I'm at home next by it is the very latest version (I run update regularly).

2. Yesterday I actually did this and moved all of the unread email to a 'download' folder I created in my .PST and then marked it all as read. I haven't had another episode of downloading all email again since.

3. Each time it has been the entire contents of my inbox on BT.com (just over 6,000 emails). It doesnt double up each time. The reason I have 25,000+ now is that I have 4 versions of the same email in my inbox.

4. TBH - BT support has been woeful. They offered rudimentary troubleshooting advice i.e. delete/re-create account and change password (which I have done) before concluding that as everything is OK in my online BT in-box that the problem is Outlook
